There is no fixed rule on the number dry nights to be considered while calling the treatment complete. However trial and practice defines treatment complete when 14 consecutive dry nights are achieved. Some users prefer to keep a longer stipulated time period. However we recommend the 14 consecutive day schedule.
Your Chummie Elite is designed to have an ultra-long battery life. When the IntelliFlex sensor is disconnected during daytime storage, the batteries should last a year or longer.
Our alarms are not an alternative to medication. Though our alarm is independent of medication, if a medicine is prescribed by your doctor, we recommend you follow their advice.
The cord length between the alarm and the sensor is 26.5” which is long enough for most children. However, if you have doubt, it best to measure the distance for your child with a measuring tape prior to placing an order.
Yes! Many parents prefer to use a pull up when using the Chummie Bedwetting Alarm to prevent sheets from getting soiled and wet.
• Attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment. Ensure that sensor front (black face) touches the undergarment. Tape the sensor back (white face) with Flexitape.
• Place the diaper outside the underwear. The IntelliFlex sensor should be sandwiched between the undergarment and the pull up.
A small percentage of children begin to wet again after being dry for 14 consecutive nights. This is called a relapse. Simply start using Chummie Elite Alarm again, just as you did the first time. Treatment will likely take less time this time around.
Note: Wetting the bed again after being dry for months or years can be a sign of an underlying physical or emotional problem. Consult your doctor.
We recommend using a new alarm for each child. However it is at the discretion of the parent to use the same alarm for the second child. If so, the alarm unit must be cleaned thoroughly and the old sensor must be replaced with a brand new sensor. Spare IntelliFlex Sensor can be purchased from our site. Alternatively, you can contact us at (800) 230-6775 to order over the phone.

We had tried another one for our six year old which was a complete disaster. The Chummie Elite was much better and has been effective for him. At this point it wakes him up and stops him from having a huge accident. He will eventually stop bedwetting. Just a matter of time.

He is older and has has struggled. He is a deep sleeper and difficult to get up. hehated getting woke up in the middle of the night at first but after the first couple weeks we started having a dry night here and there. That has never happened before. He still wears it and I will continue to make her wear alarm for a while but I think her bed wetting has come to an end.

My daughter is 7 years old and was still wetting the bed, despite my efforts of waking her up twice a night. I was never comfortable with restricting liquids, so I never did that. I got the alarm and on the 3rd night the alarm went off and she was getting herself to the toilet. By the 1st week, she was waking up on her own and voiding in the toilet without the alarm going off. Now, she does not use the alarm at all!

This is amazing. My son has used this for the last 2 weeks and the nightly accidents have slowed down. Now it’s not even a total accident, just a drip and the alarm goes off. He feels so accomplished now. We are continuing to use it

I have a 10 year old who wets the bed and we go to a Urologist, he said using a Alarm would be fine. I have had this product a month and been using it that long. With that being said it has helped my son some but the 1st week he did not hear the alarm he’s a heavy sleeper as the weeks progressed he’s been more aware of the alarm and he has been getting up going to the bathroom. Love the small design it’s not bulky and did not bother my son that it was there.

    Week free of bedwetting accidents

    Manuel

My daughter has been having trouble with enuresis for a while now, which is fairly common in children. We first allowed nature to take its course and waited until her own body could adapt its urination cycles with her sleeping cycles. She is 10 and the problem still persisted. As a child on the eve of her pre-pubescent years, we struggled to find a solution that was within our budget. The chummie alarm has pretty simple technology. It awakens the child from their deep sleep, allowing them to create a “urination routine” the body would grow accustom to and prevent any further accidents. The sound was a bit chilling at first, and it took some time getting used to, but it has done wonders for my child’s enuresis problem. We have been a week free of accidents!

I got this for my daughter who is having some night bed-wetting issue. We’ve used pull-ups, but she was very self-conscious about it, especially since her younger sister has no wetting issues. Started using it give or take 2 months ago and it has been the best purchase we ever made. Stopped bedwetting permanently in my daughter. Couldn’t ask for more.
