There is no fixed rule on the number dry nights to be considered while calling the treatment complete. However trial and practice defines treatment complete when 14 consecutive dry nights are achieved. Some users prefer to keep a longer stipulated time period. However we recommend the 14 consecutive day schedule.
Your Chummie Elite is designed to have an ultra-long battery life. When the IntelliFlex sensor is disconnected during daytime storage, the batteries should last a year or longer.
Our alarms are not an alternative to medication. Though our alarm is independent of medication, if a medicine is prescribed by your doctor, we recommend you follow their advice.
The cord length between the alarm and the sensor is 26.5” which is long enough for most children. However, if you have doubt, it best to measure the distance for your child with a measuring tape prior to placing an order.
Yes! Many parents prefer to use a pull up when using the Chummie Bedwetting Alarm to prevent sheets from getting soiled and wet.
• Attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment. Ensure that sensor front (black face) touches the undergarment. Tape the sensor back (white face) with Flexitape.
• Place the diaper outside the underwear. The IntelliFlex sensor should be sandwiched between the undergarment and the pull up.
A small percentage of children begin to wet again after being dry for 14 consecutive nights. This is called a relapse. Simply start using Chummie Elite Alarm again, just as you did the first time. Treatment will likely take less time this time around.
Note: Wetting the bed again after being dry for months or years can be a sign of an underlying physical or emotional problem. Consult your doctor.
We recommend using a new alarm for each child. However it is at the discretion of the parent to use the same alarm for the second child. If so, the alarm unit must be cleaned thoroughly and the old sensor must be replaced with a brand new sensor. Spare IntelliFlex Sensor can be purchased from our site. Alternatively, you can contact us at (800) 230-6775 to order over the phone.

    Great Alarm!

I have a 7-year-old that has had trouble with bedwetting. We have been using this for a week now and to date has had only 1 incident, most of the time going through the night or waking up before the alarm has gone off.

    Making great progress

I was having trouble with my son wetting the bed at night. He started potty training late and still had issues waking up at night to go to the bathroom. His bedwetting has improved and he has become more aware to wake up if he needs to go to the bathroom. I was worried he wouldn’t like wearing the device but it hasn’t been a problem at all. He also feels better about himself since he sees he’s making progress and doing so much better!

    It's unbelievable

    Screisch

For a boy who’s never slept dry, we were at our wits ends when we were looking for options to treat his enuresis. He wasn’t getting any younger and he avoided camps and overnight stays. He started getting paranoid about visiting his friends after sunset in case he dozed off and wet the couch.
He has wet the couch several times in our house and we really couldn’t afford him to go over to someones place and repeat the same embarrassing situation.
The chummie had stellar reviews and we decided to give it a try. In my opinion, anything other than medication for my boy would be a possible alternative treatment.
We purchased the alarm because it was on sale and we saved over 20%. Now, we don’t use the product anymore. It took him 9 weeks, but hes happy again, and so are we. BTW, he is 14.
I would give anything to get my son to stop wetting the bed. The chummie was the least expensive, most effective and best solution.
    Thanks chummie!

    It does its job

    Kutytterdal

We tried everything prior to ordering this alarm and nothing seemed to help her. We are very thankful for this alarm!!!! After years of bed wetting, this is the thing that did the trick. I thought the cost was pretty high for what you get, but it did the trick so can’t complain too much….

    Positive feedback

    Pedersen

We have found that the best way to wear the sensor is to wear a properly fitted underwear and put it at the right point where it can detect urine faster to make your child aware as soon as they start peeing. Now our child is so happy and excited to not have to wear a pullup, and to be able to wear just underwear to bed.

This alarm is amazing. I wish I had purchased it years ago. Works great for my six year old son and trained him to get up and use the bathroom in the night when needed.

I Strongly recommend CHUMMIE to ever parent.

I am thrilled that this product has worked for our daughter. I guess it took a month and a half to completely free her from bedwetting. It’s amazing how she touched her 14th dry night on her 11th birthday. The best birthday gift she’s ever received.
I will encourage any friends who’s children have with similar problems to try.
Most importantly, thank you for inventing this great product!

    Very nice.

    Candice

My first impressions are that the alarm is easy to use and the sensor helps stop the flow of urine. It started waking him up the very first night he put it on. He was confused when the alarm beeped and didn’t know what to do. I realized that I had to take an active role if I were to help him – THIS IS KEY. Remember that parents need to participate for the treatment to be effective and short. In about 3 weeks, he was able to wake up on his own and go to the bathroom and finish peeing. He’s been dry since then.

    Stops bedwetting

    Nina

This product is life changing for my child. She is older and has struggled. She is a deep sleeper and difficult to get up. We had tried so many things like no water late in the day, wake her up during the night to go, and nothing worked, she would still wake up in the morning all wet. My family physician suggested this alarm and I was very skeptical. The first few nights it went off multiple times a night but by 2 weeks it was only beeping once or so a night. Then after about another week she would wake up with that one beep and make it to the toilet.
