It’s so easy to use this bedwetting system. Had I known that all I had to do was make my son sleep and wake him when he wets the bed, I would never have waited this long.
Basically, my son sleeps on this mat and each time he pees at night, the alarm goes off and wakes us all up.
At first, he had a hard time waking up to it, but that changed quickly. Over the next few weeks as he started waking up by himself and then one night, out of the blue, woke up to use the bathroom…. the chummie had not even started beeping! He has a full bladder and emptied himself in the bathroom.
It’s almost a miracle. The mat does require some cleaning when its wet, but so worth it. I recommend that you use a dry cloth to quickly clean it. It can always be cleaned in the morning when the child is awake with a moist cotton cloth. I use Lysol wipes to disinfect the mats.
My son is proud that he is no longer a bedwetter and we are relieved parents of an ecstatic dry boy.

My 8 year daughter continued to wet her bed several times a week. We tried a number of different methods including limiting her water intake, going to the bathroom before going to bed, prescription medication and even yoga. Our family doctor recommended a bedwetting alarm. After searching online, I found this alarm. It has worked better than expected and she is not wetting her bed anymmore.

My son is a very deep sleeper. Hurricanes, sirens and loudspeakers will not wake him up. We were using another alarm prior to purchasing this product. The sensor would poke my son at every night and the alarm never woke him up – NOT EVEN ONCE in the 3 months we used it.
Bedwetting at 11 was damaging his self esteem and I felt helpless. After several weeks of researching alarms, I purchased the chummie mat and alarm system.
My first impression is that the mat is large enough to detect urine leaks and it offers significantly more comfort than the uncomfortable button sensor we were using. The alarm unit is very loud, loud enough to awaken my son and me; and it came with volume control!
The unit worked out of the box. I put the pad under the bed sheet and plugged the cord into the alarm unit. That’s it! This mat is very comfortable. My son sleeps on it like a baby. It’s very sensitive and easy to clean. The first night, the alarm was loud enough to awaken my son and me. Over the next few days, it woke him up every night and he would go to the bathroom by himself. 3 weeks later, he started sleeping dry at nights. Now, 5 weeks later, he has stopped wetting the bed
No more upset faces, just pleasant smiles every morning. I have noticed a marked improvement in his confidence level. I will recommend this product to every one.

Any child or adult who deals with an incontinence issue can reduce a lot of the stress by having a Chummie Pro. . If the adult is bedridden, the alarm alerts caretakers that attention is needed. Besides helping reduce the number of bed-wetting incidents. It’s suitable for children who do not want to wear an alarm but prefers a bed side alarm instead. I am using this alarm for my teen son. Working great.

We have not used this alarm for a month now and I think she will never ever need it any more. This alarm has trained her well to get up as soon as she feels the urge to go to the bathroom in the night. Customer service is top notch and product is excellent. Any child or adult who deals with an incontinence issue can reduce a lot of the shame and humiliation by having a Chummie. If used consistently, it can actually retrain a child to get up in the middle of the night and relieve herself at the first drop of wetness. If the adult is bedridden, the alarm alerts caretakers that attention is needed. Besides helping reduce the number of bed-wetting incidents, it’s economical, in that it saves money on incontinence products (child or adult diapers, pads, etc). It’s small, discreet, and comes with a pad; plus choice of color, blue or pink. It would be great for babysitters who care for little ones who are potty training, and great for adults caring for a senior parent.
