I only wish that they sold a spare witht he alarm. I really don’t like having to clean the sensor twice at night.

Purchased on June 15th and started using it the night it arrived on June 17th. Exactly 3 weeks later, he stopped urinating at night.
The first night, prior to going to sleep, I showed him what to do when the alarm went off. I don’t know about other parents, but my son was scared when he heard the loud alarm. I changed to a lower tone. It was still very loud. I put it on his pajama’s (although that not what you would expect to do) and put him to bed. I was surprised when I saw him wake up when the alarm went off. Although he was up, he seemed very confused about what to do. After a quick change and cleaning, he was back to bed only to be woken up again in 2 hours. My son woke up 4 times to the alarm the first night. I knew it is supposed to be sensitive, but this was amazing. The next night, same thing and then all of a sudden, it dropped to 1 time a night. He was awake every time to the alarm. About 6 days later, he got his first dry night and surprisingly enough, has been dry every night since. I even put him in bed one night without batteries in the alarm and he did not wet. Last 3 nights, I have not connected the sensor but he has been dry. He refuses to take it off fearing that he will be wet again. I have started tapering off and hope he will overcome his fear. But for the most part, 3 weeks is truly amazing.

For the past four years, my seven-year-old son has still peed in his bed almost nightly. So badly, in fact, that we needed to go back to ‘heavy dotty’ diapers to control the sheer volume that he would pee before he woke himself up at night.
