Any child or adult who deals with an incontinence issue can reduce a lot of the stress by having a Chummie Pro. . If the adult is bedridden, the alarm alerts caretakers that attention is needed. Besides helping reduce the number of bed-wetting incidents. It’s suitable for children who do not want to wear an alarm but prefers a bed side alarm instead. I am using this alarm for my teen son. Purchased the alarm and mat for my father in law who is bed-ridden. We have a full time nurse to administrator to his needs, but the diapers were giving him skin rash and it was getting nasty over time. Heard of this incontinence mat from my co-worker who had been using it for her family.
Setup was easy and the mat is very thin. Be careful when you set it up though. The mat MUST be pinned down to the bed or it will move with the user and there will be a large number of false alarms.
The alarm unit is cute, but loud. Very loud. I am glad it comes with a quiet light flash only mode. We didn’t want to wake him up every time he wets, so we set it on the light only mode. The nurse sees the lights and knows its time to change.
Granted it won’t help him overcome his incontinence, but its working very well for knowing when hes wet and changing him. Skin rash has been reduced to zero.
Its a good product.

I was worried my child would not wake up because she is such a heavy sleeper and a regular alarm does not wake her up. But with the noise and the vibrations it wakes her instantly! Goes off as soon as water touches it, very sensitive. . It took about three weeks but it did do the trick.

I was reluctant to use something like this for my 6 year old son. The alarm trained him to know when he has to go and he learned to get up and use the bathroom before there was an accident. Now he is fully trained. Highly recommend this product. Don’t spend more money than this!

This is really excellent. My daughter did not stop wetting her bed until we used this. She was almost 7 when I got her this alarm, it wakes her up every time she wets the bed, sometimes I had to wake her up as she is a heavy sleeper. I tried other alarm before but this is the only alarm that worked on her. Really excellent
